Led by Laura Cox Kaplan, panelists will share their insights on the importance of informed and engaged citizens in a civil society. Your opinion matters. So how do you advocate for an issue? How do you prepare to step out of your comfort zone and share your opinion? Be prepared to react and participate. #mindofmyown

Embrace Your Potential

A frequent guest of TED Talk Global, Magatte Wade is an entrepreneur who started two businesses in her home country Senegal. Her products, made in Africa, are sold at Whole Foods. She is committed to live her values and move Africa forward. If Magatte can do what she did in Senegal, all is not lost. We can all do something in our sphere of influence. #youcandoit

Lunch & Learn: Facilitating Civil Dialogue

Dr. Jumana Khalifeh, professor of Education Policy at DePaul University, will lead a lively discussion on What Is Policy and How to Facilitate a Dialogue? Facilitation is an art that you can use at home, at work, and of course in your circle. We can all be effective facilitators and bridge builders. A short brief will be shared with participants prior to the conference to prepare for this session. #policynotpolitics

Leaving Your Mark

In this leadership workshop, Erin Wolf, founder of SuiteTrack, will teach us how to define and establish our own personal brand, target our audience, and enhance our exposure in the workplace and wherever we walk. Recognize your choices, values, preferences, and passions. Learn how to leverage your strengths so you can excel and shine. #whatsyourbrand

3:30 PM

Turning Passion into Action

Panelists will share how they turned their passion into action from involvement in school boards, board rooms, churches and non profits, to election law. #circleup

Mind of My Own Cocktail Reception: Debug & Debrief
